How it works

An annual event, #BAD has been uniting bloggers around the world (since2007) to ideate about one important global topic on the same day. Past topics have included water, climate change and poverty. The objective of the exercise is to raise awareness and provide a platform for a global discussion around an important issue impacting all.

Blogging on the same day will engage the blogging community in meaningful conversations about the topic. Also, the conversations are sure to catch attention of the online audience spreading awareness and creating actionable opportunities. Last year, 5,600 bloggers from 143 countries took part in the #BAD on the theme of Water, reaching out to over 40 million readers. Organizers hope that these discussions facilitate flow of ideas, advice, plans, and action.
