To start the discussion, let me initiate the discussion myself :)

I love to read Abstract, Humorous content. When I say Humor, it primarily includes Satire... Cartoons/Caricatures... and yes... Politics ;)

Also, I love personal nostalgic experiences. You'll never know what you've missed out to recall in your busy life !! A splash of nostalgia always helps :)

Do let me know if you guys have come across good content in any of these three streams !

Cheers !

About reading ya I like personal nostalgic stuff too... and anything that is written in a simple language....I mean something I dont have to google on...like really strong topics can be written in a light weight if you have the flair :)...

I absolutely agree with you Sunita :) Power doesn't really come with Sophistication... It's more evident in simplicity !!!! (wow... that's going to my fb...! ;) )

I like reading suspense thriller and comic action kind of stuff. I myself write in same way.
I think what type of material you read depicts your style of writing.
What say??

Hi, Sandeep, yeah, I feel the same too. Reading surely influences the writing. I love reading classics, and have abridged classics too for a publisher. And that left an influence on my novel. At least two reviewers noted it.
