The All New Editor’s Choice

Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all !!


I start with apologies for not being back sooner,I have been busy. Yeah, we started screening the entries for BoIB 2010 polls and I have to say it’s a Herculean task. I am totally enjoying reading the blogs.

year is the eve to celebrate. When we all were dozing or thinking away from our computers few dedicated bloggers  hit the keyboard and put in their posts on 1st Jan 2011. We want to honour such bloggers and this edition of Editor’s choice could be aptly called New year 1.1.11 editor’s choice edition.  Thanks to Farzana Khan, the 1.1.11 comes from her  post title.

 

To be frank, we read around 32 posts and we bring to you the best 5 posts that you should read. Here we go…

  • Raksha BhatRaksha Bhat has a beautiful festive theme, suiting the festive mood and the post is no less. Read it for sweetness and we are sure there will be a smile on your face.
  • Purba Ray’s Purba Ray’s retrospect of her 2010 is something you will relish reading. Congrats Purba for your post making it to the top25 Blogadda picks of 2010.
  • TikuliTikuli -When the entire world was busy celebrating new year, our own Tikuli took all the pains to take us through the 100 years of our national capital. You will not regret reading such a wonderful post
  • Farzana KhanFarzana Khan , well this was our first time on her blog and we are glad we stumbled across it. The post titled 1.1.11 shows you the blogger ethics. She wraps her good read with a thank you message for all the bloggers and friends who have been with her for the past year.

REQUEST:  We are planning to kick the first of its kind debate contest for bloggers titled – The Great Debaters. You can read the rules and regulations here. We are planning for a dip stick survey regarding participation in this contest.  If you are game to participate then drop us a mail: blogjunta(at)gmail(dot)com or fill in our contact form to let us know your willingness to participate. It will boost our morales a great deal witht regard to this contest.

Coming to the BoIB 2010 polls, what we plan to do is, irrespective of blogs qualify to the final round or not, we will pick the best posts from all blogs. Yes, we cherish the fact that we are bloggers and every blogger would have written at least one pos that we would like to recommend to the rest. But then, there may be exceptions to this case :WINKING: .  Nevertheless we will try our level best  in the coming 10-15 days to bring to fore the best among all the participants.
