Blogjunta.com is a portal aimed at building a healthy bloggers society and also to give you chances to showcase your work and network with fellow bloggers. The aim of this article is to help you get started at Blogjunta.
There is a lot happening here and we aim to help you directly jump into the pool and join the party without wasting time on finding out the whereabouts or to wait to acclimatize to the people around here.
DASHBOARD
This is where all the fun begins. Dashboard is your personal space, shows your profile to others, your wall, all your and your friends’ activities. You can see who all visited your profile, your friends’ birthdays and all other things as well. Share your thoughts, your blog posts and your photos on your wall. Express your opinions by commenting on activities of your friends and show that you like it by clicking the like button.
LOUNGE
If you want to get more discreet and have discussion with people who are not your friends ( not yet, but will be your friends soon), if you want to participate in various activities, share your blog posts, review and get reviewed then this is the Place you ought to be. LOUNGE is the Junta discussion forum. You will find a wide variety of topics here. Start your own topics and join the existing discussions on our lounge.
SHOWCASE
Yes, you are an amazing writer, photographer, poet, artist, thinker, philosopher or anything else and you have put up the post on your blog. Now how do you let the world know about it? Well this was the exact thought that made us put up a SHOWCASE. Book mark your blog posts on our showcase, get people to FAV it, comment on it and see who all think you are amazing at whatever you do.
Yes, there are many established bookmarking services out there. But you don’t get a targeted blogging audience. Think of it!!
BLOG
We have two kinds of Blogs at Blogjunta. First, the official Blogjunta blog where we post in all the articles, interviews and communication. Second, the blogs for the Junta.
Yes! you can also have your own Blog at Blogjunta.com and your blog posts are shown in your profile under your photo for the visitors to sample your works. So, use this opportunity and share some of your blog posts with the junta. Who knows, by reading these posts they may as well start following your personal blogs. The idea is to help others get better acquainted with you and your blog(s).
GROUPS
Human society was established only when people of common interests got together and started sharing, helping one another and developed on their tastes. Now we at Blogjunta are putting this age old wisdom to practice. We have many groups for books, movies, photography, travel so on and so forth. Join one of these groups or start a new one and build the community of your interest. Our ancestors did what they can. Now it’s our turn to build a new age society, put the Junta groups to best use.
CHATTY CHAT

THE GREAT DEBATERS
One of its kind bloggers debate. The idea here is to get bloggers to read write, argue, comment and debate. The great debater is a monthly debate contest, where people write and debate on a chosen topic and we pick winners. One blogging for the topic and another blogging against the topic. Well on this front, only sky is the limit. We have a number of initiatives planned and we will try our best to roll them out at the earliest or as planned.
